I have followed Joanna Pacitti's career since she played the title role in the 1997 Broadway-Bound revival of Annie. She was incredible and has continued to blossom and shine ever since. She really got the raw end of the deal when the Annie producers fired her for having bronchitis. (Former Annie star Andrea McArdle agreed in a 20/20 interview.) -- Anyhow, I hope her dreams come true on American Idol and the she becomes more of a household name and gets the guidance needed for a huge singing career!
